It’s a Tight Job Market. Here's an article from WSJ on the impact on tiny businesses.

The upward growth of small businesses has seen a dramatic decrease in the last eight years. It is the attraction and retention of workers where these companies have been struggling the most. A CEO has stated that there needs to be a focus on the intangibles that occur past the paycheck. In order to compensate for this struggle, companies have turned to outside contractors and/or automation. There has also been an increase in "job hopping."
